Biography (Vlado Georgiev)
Serbian/Montenegrin pop singer/songwriter. Born in 1977 in Herceg Novi, Montenegro. For the last 10 years he's been living and working in Belgrade. In 1997 he won the first prize with song "Draga" ("Dear") on festival "Pjesma Mediterana" ("Song of the Mediteran") in Budva, S&M. Vlado Georgiev participated on festivals throughout Serbia & Montenegro and wrote songs for young pop singers, patiently waiting for his big chance. He didn't want to make highly commercial instant-hits for good money. Young singer Željko Vasić had a lot of success with Vlado's song "Žena kao ti" ("A women like you") on "Budva 2001" festival. Vlado writes lyrics, music and he is planning to publish a book of his poetry. He doesn't like destructive songs, but mellow love verses.
