Biography (Baha'a)
Baha'a Al Kafi (also referred to as Baha/Bahaa El Kefi) is a female vocalist from Tunisia. Baha'a was the second-runner up on the first season of the pan-Arab iteration of Star Academy. Though she did not win, she and her fellow runner-up Bashar El Shatti, enjoyed considerably better luck in their musical careers than winner Mohammed Attia. Baha'a released her debut album, "Baha'a", in 2006. Her album consisted of 10 tracks in the Tunisian, Egyptian, Gulf, Lebanese, and Moroccan Arabic dialects. She worked with a star-studded team, including Wissam El Amir, Suhail Fares, Boudi Na'oum, George Marderosian, Mohammed Rahim, Haitham Zayyad, and Michel Fadel.Baha'a, known for her shyness since her Star Academy days, stays out of the press and only shot one video clip, "W'edni", from her hit album.
